Message	While I don't know if removing the gasket has any impact at higher speeds, I do know that it effectively vents engine bay heat while driving around town. I tried an experiment with removing the gasket. With the t-tops removed, I could feel the heat coming out of the engine bay while driving around at city speeds. It was pronounced enough that I put the gasket back on so that the heat wouldn't get drawn into the cabin with the t-tops off.
